At the risk of sounding cliche, my life has always been filled with creativity, imagination, drawing, and making my space a comfortable and happy place to be.
So many crafts and creative endeavors to take part in! Scrapbooks, rubber stamps, drawing, watercolor, photography, quilting, and digital design. And don’t get me started on supplies. Let’s just say I’m not one to sit on the surface. The craft progression usually goes something like this…
Buy the supplies, take the class, purchase more supplies, get published | own the store | get certified | teach the class | get a few degrees, and of course, always buy more supplies.
I also love reading, writing, travel, Disney magic, and appreciate a great planner to keep me organized. I”m happy and grateful every day to be experiencing the amazingness of life with my people .
My Why
Our lives move through seasons; marked by milestones and built on traditions. I have a set of ornaments from my first Christmas. My adult “kids” still have the duck from their great-grandma that quacks out “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” and they still crack up laughing every time they squeeze it’s bill.
Yeah, we’re a sentimental bunch around here.
Growing up, my family showered me with love and encouragement and I strived to do the same for my kids, and now, for my nieces and nephews. And I’ve figured something out along the way…
I do it for myself as much as I do it for them.
I find joy and satisfaction in planning, crafting, decorating, and creating some thing that makes the people I love feel special. The fulfillment I get is rewarding and seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces is the cherry on top.
Home is where we start from and family are the first and loudest cheerleaders. I believe we nurture self-esteem and confidence by celebrating small accomplishments, celebrating big events, and creating memories that can be held in one’s heart.
It is my hope that the designs I make and the products I offer can be a part of your crafting experience for your own self-fulfillment and also for your parties, your home, and your families and all the love you share.
