How to Make Your Printable Hooray! Banner
This printable PDF makes it easy to put together your own cheerful banner. Print the flags, trim them, and string them together to create a decoration that’s ready to celebrate!
What You’ll Need
- The printable Hooray! banner PDF
- Cardstock
- A printer
- Scissors or a paper trimmer
- A hole punch
- String, ribbon, yarn, or curling ribbon
Step 1: Print Your Banner
Print the PDF onto cardstock for sturdy flags that hold their shape. Choose a paper color that complements your celebration, or use white cardstock to let the design shine.
Step 2: Cut Out the Flags
Carefully trim around each flag. Take your time so the edges look neat and your banner comes together beautifully.
Step 3: Punch the Holes
Use a hole punch to make a hole in each top corner of every flag. These holes will hold your string and keep the flags in place.
Step 4: String the Flags Together
Thread your favorite string through the holes, arranging the flags in the correct order to spell “Hooray!”
I used curling ribbon for the banner pictured here, but you can choose whatever suits your occasion. Jute gives it a rustic feel, colorful ribbon adds a festive touch, and yarn offers a soft, playful look.
Step 5: Hang It Up and Celebrate!
Find the perfect spot to display your finished banner. Hang it over a doorway, above a desk, on a bedroom wall, or wherever your special someone will see it.
